I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I began working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
