I have played millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
