I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
