My Gambling Den Vingt-et-un Variety Casino Game
by Silas on June 12th, 2026
I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
